Sweet Little Boy!

Dyan hosted a baby shower for her very best friend this past weekend and was wanting a diaper cake to use this as a centerpiece for one of the tables. Her friend is having a little boy, and is decorating her nursery in browns, greens, and baby blue. So, Dyan used this theme in the shower planning. I added the initial of the baby's last name to make it a little more special for the momma-to-be! I am IN LOVE with how bright & fun this cake turned out! It reminds me of my own sweet, spunky little boy!

Fun with Dr. Seuss!

I have to say, this was probably my most favorite cake to make so far! :) I am the biggest Dr. Seuss fan now! Since making this one, I've even bought Mason a Dr. Seuss backpack and book at a consignment sale! It makes me wanna go decorate a nursery or something! My friend, Lisha, and her aunt ordered this cake for her cousin's Seuss-themed baby shower. The mommy is having a boy, but the name is a surprise! How fun! This was the first order I have shipped, so I am now accepting orders outside of my KY & TN areas. Please spread the word to your out-of-town friends!

Giving Back

I made this cake as a donation for the Music City Mission Trivia/Silent Auction Night, where all the proceeds were going toward the Ladies' Luncheon that they host every year near Mother's Day. This mission is so close to my family's heart since we have all been helping with their efforts for several years. I was so excited when Jennifer called and asked if I could donate a diaper cake. I feel humbled in knowing that my new business is going to help serve these beautiful women at the luncheon, if even in a small way. I pray for more opportunities for people to be blessed through this.
